Picture this: toes in the sand, ice-cold drink in hand, live music on the beach stage, and fireworks over Airlie Beach & the Whitsunday Islands. We’re bringing the party back to the beach for New Year’s Eve 2025, with a killer lineup set to keep you dancing under the stars all night long!
Headlining this year is the powerhouse Australian rock band, Slippery Gypsy, bringing their electrifying energy and big-stage presence to Airlie Beach. They’ll be joined by an incredible support lineup featuring Ash Smith, Rebelquin, and DJ Ahri spinning into the early hours with those must-have NYE bangers.

✨ Two NYE Fireworks Shows: Watch the Whitsunday sky light up with not one, but two incredible NYE fireworks displays! The 10pm show will set the vibe, while the midnight show launches 2026 in unforgettable style.
🎵 Live Bands & DJ: From rocking live sets to party anthems on the decks, this year’s lineup will keep the beach stage pumping all night long.
🍹 Outdoor Bars & Food Trucks: Sip, snack, and celebrate with beachside bars, tasty bites in the Brasserie and Beach Kitchen, plus a variety of pop-up food trucks to fuel the fun. We will be selling beer, wine and spirits on the event night to keep bar service quick so you can get back to the party!
🌴 Beach Stage: Our iconic stage returns, boasting epic festival vibes and unbeatable views over Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands.
📸 Photo Booth: Snap a keepsake to remember your NYE at Northerlies forever.
🚌 Free Buses: Party stress-free with free buses running all night, connecting you to and from the venue with ease.
GETTING HERE:
There will be multiple buses running on a loop between 6 bus stops from 3:30pm until close. We’ll keep running until all guests are out of the venue safely. BUSES WILL BE FREE so no need for a booking, just jump on. Check our Facebook page for any updates.

Buses will take approximately 30-40 minutes each loop.
SEATING:
Please note, NYE tickets do not include seating. To guarantee a table, please contact our team on [email protected] with your ticket number, area preference, number of people and group name. Latest booking time is 6pm. All reserved tables will be released at 6:30pm. We will also have lots of walk-in tables available on the night.
