Join us for an unforgettable Melbourne Cup Luncheon at Northerlies Beach Bar & Grill, overlooking the beautiful Whitsundays. Great food, flowing drinks, stunning beach views and an incredible race-day atmosphere come together for one of the biggest days on our calendar.
Dress to impress, gather your friends and settle in for a day of delicious food, Melbourne Cup action and plenty of fun — followed by our DJ After Party from 2pm!

🏇 THE DETAILS
Doors & bar open from 10am with lunch served from 11:30am.
All ticket holders will have an allocated seat and table. Please advise us of any dietary requirements prior to the event so our kitchen team can tailor your meal where possible.
Private group tables can be allocated for bookings of 16 or more. Smaller groups may be seated together on longer tables with other parties — a great opportunity to meet new people and enjoy the atmosphere!
We’ll be running multiple sweeps for the main race, so we recommend bringing some cash.
The Melbourne Cup runs at 2pm, with screens showing the earlier races throughout the day. Once the main race is over, we’ll move the party outside with our DJ kicking off from 2pm.

Our Beach Kitchen will be open for walk-in lunch bookings in the Beach Hut, and lunch guests are welcome to head into the Brasserie to catch the race on the big screens.

We will be selling multiple sweeps for the main race and recommend bringing cash.
Main race starts at 2pm sharp + there will be screens on all day for earlier races.
We’ll then move the action outside for the after party! DJ playing from 2pm.

Don’t have a ticket? We’ll also have the Beach Kitchen open for walk-in lunch bookings in the Beach Hut only. Lunch guests are welcome to head into the brasserie to watch the race.

Getting Here
Our courtesy bus will be running with capped availability. Book your free pick up on our website here. We recommend booking early as spots can fill up. We also have on-site parking.

Don’t have a ticket?
We will be serving lunch from the outside Beach Kitchen menu for all patrons not attending the Melbourne Cup Luncheon event. Dinner bookings & service resumes as usual.
