We’re back in 2025 with our iconic Cup Day Luncheon at Northerlies! Get ready for a spectacular afternoon of racing, style, and celebration by the beach. Enjoy a specially curated three-course menu, soak up the oceanfront views as you watch the big race, then dance the day away at the Race Day After Party in the Beach Hut.
This event is always a sell-out and one of the highlights of our calendar — so gather your friends, dress to impress, and join us for an unforgettable Melbourne Cup by the water.

The Details
Doors & bar opens at 10am, Tuesday 4 November 2025.
All ticket holders will have an allocated seat and table.
Please share any dietary requirements so we can tailor your meal.
Private group tables can be allocated to bookings of 16 or more. Smaller groups will be sat together on longer tables with other parties. Great for making new mates!
We will be selling multiple sweeps for the main race and recommend bringing cash.
Main race starts at 2pm sharp + there will be screens on all day for earlier races.
We’ll then move the action outside for the after party! DJ playing from 2pm.

Don’t have a ticket? We’ll also have the Beach Kitchen open for walk-in lunch bookings in the Beach Hut only. Lunch guests are welcome to head into the brasserie to watch the race.

Getting Here
Our courtesy bus will be running with capped availability. Book your free pick up on our website here. We recommend booking early as spots can fill up. We also have on-site parking.

We will be serving lunch from the outside Beach Kitchen menu for all patrons not attending the Melbourne Cup Luncheon event. Phone bookings only. Dinner bookings & service resumes as usual.
